Are You Sharing the Gift God Has Given You?
The love Christ has shown you is a gift.
His grace is a gift.
His mercy is a gift.
His forgiveness is a gift.
Even the things He has brought you through can become a gift.
But here’s the question: Are you sharing that gift, or are you keeping it to yourself?
God didn’t bring you through everything you’ve been through just so you could say, “I survived.” Your testimony may be exactly what someone else needs to hear while they’re wondering if they’re going to make it.
Think about these Thoughts of the Day. Many of you have reached out and said, “I needed this today.” I’m grateful every time I hear that because I simply try to share what the Holy Spirit places on my heart for whoever needs it that day.
But if you needed it, chances are someone else needs it too.
There are people walking through the same season you’re in right now. There are others entering a season you’ve already come through.
Have you reached out to them?
Have you told them what Jesus did for you? Have you shared how His grace carried you when you were weak? Have you told them about the mercy He showed you when you didn’t deserve it? Have you encouraged them with how the Holy Spirit strengthened you and helped you keep going?
Or have you kept the gift to yourself?
“Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve others, as good stewards of the varied grace of God.” — 1 Peter 4:10 CSB
You don’t need a platform. You don’t need thousands of followers. You don’t have to preach a sermon.
You just need one person.
Today, I encourage you to share this message with a handful of people—or even just one. Encourage someone. Tell them what Christ has done in your life. If these daily messages have helped you, invite someone else to receive them too.
I often say, if each of us simply took care of one person, imagine how different this world would look.
So today, don’t worry about reaching everyone.
Reach one.
Who is the one person God is putting on your heart today?
Don’t keep the gift to yourself.
Share it.
