Assurance in What We Don’t See

Scripture:

“Trusting is being confident of what we hope for, convinced about things we do not see.”

— Hebrews 11:1 (CJB)

Reflection:

Trusting isn’t abstract. It’s not just a church word.

Trusting is when you don’t get the job you really wanted… and instead of walking around defeated, you walk with confidence and peace anyway—because you believe God is redirecting you, not rejecting you.

Trusting is waking up unsure how that next bill is going to get paid… but you still get up, go to work, give it your absolute best, and carry joy in your heart because you know your Provider isn’t your paycheck—it’s God.

Trusting is choosing faith over fear when the numbers don’t add up.

It’s praising before the provision shows up.

It’s standing steady when the door closes and saying, “If He shut it, He has something better.”

Assurance in what we don’t see is lived out in ordinary Tuesdays. It’s faith in motion. It’s obedience without full explanation.

It’s not pretending everything is perfect.

It’s believing God is still good—even when everything isn’t clear.

Encouragement:

If you’re in that place right now—waiting, stretching, believing—keep moving forward. Keep working. Keep smiling. Keep praying.

Walk like God is already working on your behalf.

Because He is.
