“Built by the Battle”
“Regard it all as joy, my brothers, when you face various kinds of temptations; for you know that the testing of your trust produces perseverance.” — James 1:2–4 (CJB)
When life hits hard, it’s easy to question God’s purpose in the pain. But the truth is—trials don’t come to destroy you. They come to develop you. Every difficult season is a divine classroom where God teaches endurance, molds character, and deepens faith.
The pressure you feel is not punishment—it’s preparation.
You are being shaped into something stronger, purer, and more complete. God is not interested in momentary comfort; He’s after eternal character.
So when the storm rages, lift your eyes and remember: joy isn’t the absence of trouble—it’s the presence of trust.
Father, thank You for every trial that draws me closer to You. Give me the strength to rejoice in the testing, knowing You are building something in me that will last forever. Amen.
