“Do It With All Your Heart”
Today, as I prepare to serve another year as a boat captain and fish alongside these two young men, I can’t help but reflect on how much they’ve grown—not just in their fishing, but in their faith.
Every time we step on that boat, it’s more than just casting lines. It’s about planting seeds. We listen to worship music, talk about life, faith, and what God’s doing in their hearts. And in those moments, I’m reminded that every act of service—no matter how simple or recreational it may seem—is an opportunity to pour into others.
Whether you’re leading youth, mentoring adults, or simply being present with someone who needs encouragement, do it with all your heart. As Scripture reminds us:
“Whatever you do, work at it wholeheartedly, as though you were doing it for the Lord and not merely for people.” — Colossians 3:23 (CJB)
So today, let’s cast our lines and our lives with purpose—serving, mentoring, and loving in the name of Jesus.
