Don’t let fear keep you from obedience—someone’s life may depend on it.

Don’t let fear keep you from obedience—someone’s life may depend on it.

Scripture:

“Rescue those being dragged off to death—won’t you save those about to be killed?” — Proverbs 24:11 (CJB)

Reflection:

Fear doesn’t just hold you back—it can silence you when God is calling you to speak. It keeps you from pulling a brother aside when you see him drifting. It keeps you from reaching out to the stranger God places on your heart. It keeps you stuck in relationships God has already told you to walk away from.

And the truth is—delayed obedience has consequences.

There are moments God ordains—divine intersections where your words, your courage, your obedience can shift the direction of someone’s life. You may never know if that person is one conversation away from breaking… or one word away from hope. Fear will tell you, “It’s not your place.” God says, “I placed you there.”

Sometimes fear looks like hesitation. Sometimes it looks like comfort. Sometimes it disguises itself as “waiting for the right time.” But too often, that moment passes—and the opportunity goes with it.

Encouragement:

Be bold today. Speak when God nudges you. Step away when He tells you to leave. Reach out when He puts someone on your heart. You are not just acting for yourself—you are stepping into His purpose for others.

Don’t miss the moment. Don’t ignore the call.

What God is asking you to do today may be the very thing that changes—or even saves—a life.

Im about 3 conversations past broken….saying that im grateful for the ones that have reached out and I know they would all be there if I called and thats the issue, that’s the disconnect. I don’t feel I deserve any of it. From my brothers in Christ but especially from Him. Im taking this weekend at Tres Dias to get with God and figure it out. Whatever that looks like still hasn’t been revealed to me but my prayer is to stop trying to do alone, stop isolating myself and listening to “ole slick” I’m tired of being sick and tired! Love yall guys
