Don’t Use God Like a Plastic Surgeon

Many people want God to remove the scars, pain, and consequences of their choices, but they don’t want Him to change the habits that caused them.

It’s like paying for plastic surgery while refusing to learn how to eat healthy. You may change the outside for a while, but if nothing changes on the inside, the same problems will eventually return.

God isn’t interested in simply covering our wounds. He wants to transform our hearts. He doesn’t just forgive sin—He teaches us to turn from it. True healing isn’t just restoration; it’s transformation.

Romans 12:2 (NKJV)

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

Don’t ask God to change your circumstances if you’re unwilling to let Him change you.
