“Faith That Brings Heaven Down”

July 19, 2025, 7:00 AM

Thursday July 17th was one of those moments that could’ve easily turned sour. A mistake with the flight schedule meant most of us missed the plane, and someone I care about was beating himself up over it. But here’s the thing—I didn’t feel anger, frustration, or anxiety. Not for one second.

Why?

Because my peace doesn’t come from circumstances—it comes from Christ.

In that moment, I realized something deep: when you truly give it all to God—your plans, your emotions, your control—you don’t just get through trials… you rise above them. You bring Heaven to earth.

Jesus said in John 14:27,

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

That peace is what allowed me to respond with grace, to comfort the anxious, and to love through disappointment. That peace is Heaven touching earth.

Let me ask you—are you still trying to control what only God can handle? Are you letting your joy be tied to things that shift like sand? Or are you ready to live in such a way that God’s Kingdom becomes visible through you?

Heaven isn’t just a place we go someday—it’s a peace we can carry today.

Let go. Trust Him. And watch as Heaven shows up—right in the middle of the mess.

Very good. No doubt the people with you saw Christ working through you in that moment. Good testimony!
