Finding Yourself Again
Sometimes life wears us down so much that we forget who we are. The world piles on — sleepless nights, heavy burdens, and the quiet ache of wondering if we still have a purpose. We go through the motions, helping others, but deep inside, we feel lost.
But friend, God never loses sight of who you are. Even when you feel like “a big bag of messed up,” He still calls you by name. He formed you with purpose, and that purpose doesn’t disappear just because the world has worn you thin.
It’s okay to unpack that bag and find yourself again. It’s okay to slow down, rest, and let God remind you who you are in Him — not what the world has told you, not what age or pain has stolen, but the you He created for His glory.
“Come to Me, all of you who are struggling and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 (CJB)
When you can’t see your purpose, go back to the One who gave it to you. Let Him restore your peace, renew your strength, and remind you that you are never too far gone to be found again.
