Owning Your Choices

Too many times we want to shift the blame. If something goes wrong, we say “Satan is attacking me.” If life doesn’t unfold the way we thought, we say “It’s just God’s plan.” But the truth is—sometimes we are simply reaping what we sow.

Galatians 6:7 reminds us:

“Don’t be deceived, no one can make a fool of God. A person reaps what he sows.” (CJB)

Satan may try to use our bad choices against us, but he doesn’t force us to make them. God may allow us to walk through trials, but He is not the author of our disobedience. The reality is—we must take ownership of our decisions.

The good news is, God is a Redeemer. He can take your failure and turn it into faith, your vice into victory, your mistakes into ministry. But it starts with repentance:

“Father, forgive me. I made a mistake. I repent. Help me walk in Your ways.”

Don’t keep blaming Satan or excusing your sins as “God’s plan.” Instead, own your choices, repent, and watch how God transforms your story.
