Sometimes God won’t give you the conclusion—but He will give you the courage

Sometimes God won’t give you the conclusion—but He will give you the courage.

Scripture (CJB):

“Trust in Adonai with all your heart; do not rely on your own understanding.”

—Proverbs 3:5 (CJB)

Reflection:

We often ask God for answers, clarity, and certainty. We want to know how it’s all going to end before we take the first step. But God, in His wisdom, knows that if we had the full conclusion, we might never learn to trust Him. Instead of revealing the whole plan, He strengthens our heart for the moment we’re standing in.

Courage is often God’s confirmation. It’s His way of saying, “You don’t need to see the end—just walk with Me.” Faith grows not when everything makes sense, but when we move forward even when it doesn’t.

Encouragement:

If you don’t have answers today, but you do have the courage to keep going, that courage didn’t come from you—it came from God. Take the step He’s placed in front of you. He will be faithful to complete what He has started. As Scripture reminds us, “Adonai himself will go ahead of you. He will be with you; He will neither fail you nor abandon you” (Deuteronomy 31:8, CJB).
