Today, as I spoke with brothers and friends, a common theme echoed in every conversation — weariness. Some said, “It feels like life’s just dumping on me today.” Others wondered why every step forward in their walk with Christ seems followed by two steps back.
And it made me reflect on a powerful truth we often forget: the attacks don’t come because we’re doing something wrong… they come because we’re doing something right.
Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
And Paul reminds us, “Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” (2 Timothy 3:12)
The closer you walk with Jesus, the more the enemy sees you as a threat. When you weren’t a threat to hell, the enemy left you alone. But now? Now you’re standing in truth. Now you’re leading your family. Now you’re breaking chains. And that makes you dangerous.
So yes, the enemy will throw discouragement, distraction, and division your way — in your marriage, your job, your kids, even your own thoughts. But here’s the good news: Satan attacks where God is advancing.
Don’t let the attacks confuse you. Let them confirm you’re on the right path. When you stumble, get back up. Rebuke the enemy in Jesus’ name. Speak truth over the lies. Love through the struggle. And keep walking.
“Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7)
You’re not alone, brother. We’re in this together — warriors on the front lines.
Be strong. Be blessed. And keep fighting the good fight of faith.
