The Storm May Roar, but It Cannot Rule

Scripture:

“He said to the sea, ‘Quiet! Be still!’ And the wind subsided, and there was a dead calm.”
Mark 4:39 (CJB)

Reflection:

Some storms are loud enough to shake your peace, heavy enough to make you feel helpless, and sudden enough to make you wonder where God is. But the truth is this: the storm is over your head, but it is still under His feet.
Your fear does not move Him — your faith does. The same voice that created the heavens still speaks into the chaos of your life. The question isn’t whether He cares; the question is whether we will trust what He has already spoken:
“Let us go to the other side.”
If He said “us,” that means you’re not going under — you’re going through.

Encouragement:

Stand firm today. Don’t magnify the storm; magnify the Savior. Wake Him with your prayer, trust His promise, and walk in the calm only His voice can bring. He is with you, and you will reach the other side.

This I have learned in recent months. Storms are messy and destroy things around you. But look up, keep your focus on Jesus and sing His praises Only then will you see the lessons and the blessings. He works ALL things for good!!!!
