Who Surrounds You?
Even the strongest among us fall.
Even the men of God — those seen as warriors of faith — stumble. The world wears us down, attacks us, and sometimes, it feels like we can’t take another hit. But what makes the difference isn’t our strength — it’s who stands beside us when we fall.
If I had no one to pray for me, no one to lift me when I was broken, I don’t know if I’d get back up.
Yes, I’m a strong man, but every man has a breaking point.
That’s why God designed us for fellowship. He didn’t call us to walk alone; He called us to walk together. We need brothers who won’t give up on us, who will fight for us in prayer, who will stand in the gap when our knees buckle.
If you want true strength, surround yourself with those who will pray for you, lift you, and speak truth into you — even when it’s hard to hear.
“Two are better than one, because they get a good return for their effort. For if they fall, the one will lift up his companion; but woe to the one who falls and doesn’t have another to lift him up.” — Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 (CJB)
So ask yourself today — who do you surround yourself with?
Because who surrounds you can be the difference between staying down and rising again.
