You’re Not as Far Away as You Think
Sometimes we feel like we’ve wandered too far from God. Shame makes the distance feel even greater. But the truth is—there’s nowhere He can’t reach, nowhere He won’t go, and nowhere His love can’t find you.
The moment you stop running and simply turn toward Him, you’ll discover He’s already there—arms wide open, ready to embrace you and whisper, “Welcome home.”
James 4:8 (CJB) says, “Come close to God, and He will come close to you.” That’s not a maybe. That’s a promise.
And I know I’m speaking to someone today. You don’t feel worthy. You don’t feel loved. You wonder if God would even take you back. But deep inside—you want Him. You want that love. You want that forgiveness.
Ask for it. Take what’s already yours. Jesus died on the cross so you could have a place in heaven with our Father. None of us are good enough—not even close. But that’s the beautiful thing about grace: we don’t have to be. We only have to come to Him and say, “I want You. I need You.”
So I beg you—no matter how far away you think you are, turn to Him. Reach out. Cry out. He will be there. He is there. He never left.
